History
The Gordon Clan.
The clans originally referred to the big Highland families that ruled over land that was either won by armies or was ‘given’ to them by the King. Scotsmen today can all still trace their origins back and lay claim to their membership of a certain clan. The Gordon Highlanders Clan is one of the largest and most well-known clans in the world. The Gordon Highlander mottos “Stand fast” and “By courage not by
craft” illustrate their unfailing service to the Crown and King that they served with unfailing constancy and with unequalled passion for combat.
